Ankama's Turn Based Tactical RPG Waven Launches on Steam Early Access

Ankama Games, the French developer best known for Dofus and Wakfu, launched their newest game today titled Waven onto Steam early access. While Waven doesn't bill itself as an MMO, it's an RPG with online co-op and a PvP arena.

While Waven is currently available on PC and Mac through Steam, it will be launching on mobile devices (both Android and iOS) later this year when the game fully launches. Other core features like "Main quests" and "Island Defense" will be available at launch as well.

The game currently offers more than 250 quests, 17 destinations to visit, 25 heroes, 90 companions, and 300+ spells to collect and equip. The game currently has over 11,000 concurrent players on Steam with mixed reviews.
